A former administrator in the Philadelphia School District has filed a lawsuit against the district saying he was fired for whistle-blowing. The plaintiff was fired for “violating policies that prohibit disclosing confidential district information,” but that information, the suit says, regarded a contract that violated district policies and numerous state and federal laws. The information regarded a no-bid surveillance-camera project for the school district, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
