A Southern California man has filed a lawsuit against the Los Angeles County sheriff’s department after he was allegedly beaten and arrested by officers earlier this year for no reason. According to the lawsuit, the man was apprehended and beaten in the parking lot of a local hospital as he was attempting to pick up his father. The plaintiff claims the first officer punched him “for no apparent reason” and then other officers joined in the attack.
